BOUNTIFUL — Randy was arrested for aggravated kidnapping, aggravated assault, and aggravated robbery. He is an inmate at the Utah State Prison, and said a lot of things led up to the bad choices he made, including being a heroin addict. His worst mistake was not listening to his parents, his wife, his sisters, and his friends. He is now ashamed of what he has done and the people he has hurt.
>>>LOGAN — Diocesan Archivist Emeritus Bernice Maher Mooney was honored Oct. 20 for her outstanding archival work for the Diocese of Salt Lake City. Mooney’s successor in the diocesan archives, Gary Topping, presented Mooney with the Utah Manuscripts Association’s Dr. Everett L. Cooley Distinguished Archival Career Award during the association’s annual meeting at Utah State University in Logan. Mooney is only the second recipient of the award, named for the founder of the Utah Manuscripts Association.
